The Peak Period Shoulder Lane CM/GC project involved widening I-70, replacing two bridges, working along Clear Creek and installing the Peak Period Express Lane. During the preconstruction phase we proposed innovative concepts that ended up saving the project $5 million after synergizing with CDOT and HDR throughout the entire project. The large scale of the project required extensive construction planning and scheduling, Lawrence Construction also worked to ensure that there were minimal impacts to the creek and its many recreational users. Our Public Information Plan allowed us to communicate with the traveling public about lane closures, delays, and general updates surrounding the project. Lawrence Construction went above and beyond to protect the kayakers, rafters, bikers, and fishermen of Colorado who frequent Clear Creek. We are proud to be apart of a project that will serve Colorado and its travelers for years to come.
