Lawrence Construction Company is accepting resumes for the following positions only:

  • Dirt-work Superintendent

    Reports to Lawrence Construction Company Project Manager.

    Location, initially, Colorado Springs, but may include projects awarded along Front Range, mountain communities, and mining projects in the Western and Southwestern states.

    Salaried, regular, full time, and exempt position.

    High School diploma or equivalent required, construction management degree preferred.

    Primary Responsibilities: Coordinates and supervises heavy highway, civil engineering and utility construction crews. Also, ensures compliance with all construction project specifications with construction of bridges, roads, and other public works. Position acts as first line supervisor with Foreman for the management of construction activities, which will include safety, environmental, quality, schedule, budget and scope. Oversees Foreman and on-site labor relations that may include subcontractors and organized labor.

    Qualifications Required: Applicants must have extensive supervisory experience with heavy highway and civil engineering projects. Documented experience should include a proven track record directing crews safely, on time, and on budget. Effective communication and people skills required. Pre-employment drug test required.

  • Heavy Highway Structure Superintendent

    Reports to Lawrence Construction Company Project Manager.

    Location may vary with projects awarded along the Front Range and mountain communities in the Western and Southwestern states.

    Salaried, regular, full time and exempt position.

    High School diploma or equivalent required, construction management university degree preferred.

    Primary Responsibilities: Coordinates and supervises heavy highway, civil engineering and utility construction crews. Also, ensures compliance with all construction project specifications with construction of bridges, roads, and other public works. Position acts as first line supervisor with Foreman for the management of construction activities, which will include safety, environmental, quality, schedule, budget and scope. Oversees Foreman and on site labor relations that may include subcontractors and organized labor.

    Qualifications Required: Applicants must have 5 to 10 years supervisory experience with heavy highway and civil engineering projects at a Superintendent level. Documented experience should include a proven track record directing crews safely, on time, and on budget. Experience with nation-wide heavy highway contractors preferred. Effective communication and people skills required. Pre-employment drug test required.
